RESIDENT CAMP:  THE THEME

Many people have been asking about this years’ theme. We don’t want to let all the cats out of the bag, but you may remember sitting around the TV about 40 years ago and watching as a small capsule orbited the moon for the first time. The whole world was watching . . . Flash forward several decades and you might recall a ‘little’ film production based in a galaxy far, far away inspired by this real life occurrence.  Merge the two and you get the continuing Saga of Star Wares . . . and it has come to the attention of our Special Operative Scouts of the Rebel Alliance that others were watching and may be coming to investigate. We are looking for adventurous Jubilee Knight Scouts to sign up for 4 day periods to help us investigate this potential ‘invasion’ of Camp Ware. There is also a rumor that some of them may already be here.  Stay tuned for additional information!

Resident Camp 

is a four day/ three night stay designed for Wolf, Bear and Webelos Cub Scouts who are prepared to experience an overnight camp!  A Scout will stay with his friends in either two man tent sites, larger tent condos or in Macaleer Lodge with bunk beds.

Who can attend?

All Cub Scouts and Webelos Cubs Scouts may attend camp with their pack.  Parents are encouraged to come with leaders and enjoy the camping experience with their sons.  No previous camping experience is needed.  If you bring your personal equipment and your Scout spirit, our trained staff will take care of the rest.
