Payment Schedule

You should use the following table of dates as a guideline for making pre-camp preparations. Remember that all payments received after the due date or at camp, will be subject to paying the full fees, and that you risk losing your campsite by not meeting deadlines.

FIREWOOD DEPOSIT
 
All units reserving cabins with wood stoves or fireplaces are required to leave a separate $50 firewood deposit with the Ranger or campmaster. This deposit will be returned to the unit upon check-out after verification that an equal amount of any firewood used by the group during the weekend has been replaced. Please DO NOT include your firewood deposit with any reservation fee payments.

Please Note: No firewood deposit is required for units using tent sites,
stockade sites, adirondack sites or Macaleer Lodge.

CAMP FEE PAYMENT POLICY

The Chester County Council Camping Committee has established a revised fee payment policy for weekend camping program:

All camp fees for facility rentals must be paid in full within two weeks of the unit's receipt of confirmation of cabin or campsite availability.

NOTE: Program payments (C.O.P.E., Rifle Ranges etc) can be made during the weekend that the unit is at camp.

REFUND SCHEDULE

Should it become necessary for a unit to cancel a reservation, the following fee refund schedule will apply. The effectives dates which will be utilized to determined the amount to be refunded are the date the payment was received and the date that the Chester County Council was notified of the cancellation.
More than 6 months from the reserved date: Refund all but 20%
5 to 6 months from the reserved date: Refund all but 25%
4 to 5 months from the reserved date: Refund all but 30%
3 to 4 months from the reserved date: Refund all but 40%
2 to 3 months from the reserved date:    Refund all but 50%
1 to 2 months from the reserved date: Refund all but 60%
Less than one month from the reserve date:

   No refund
